共同生活・共食によって獲得できる家族の関係性を探った前作となる『新異家族』（2021）は、私が住んでいたシェアハウスに生まれてきたゆづきを中心に食卓の周りの人々を取り上げた。それから2年が経ち、ベイビーだったゆづきは4歳半になり、弟ができた。話したり、走ったり、たくさんのことができるようになった。再びシェアハウスにカメラを向けた私は、ゆづきにカメラを渡すことにした。

As a sequel to Family Share (2021), which explored the family relationships that can be acquired through communal living and eating together, focused on the people around the dining table, particularly Yuzuki, who was born in the shared house where I lived. Two years later, baby Yuzuki is now four and a half years old and has a little brother. He can now talk, run and do lots of other things. As I started to film and document everyday life in the house share again, I decided to hand the camera over to Yuzuki.
