中国・杭州の郊外にある「天都城」というニュータウンには、エッフェル塔のレプリカが佇んでいます。私たちはヨーロッパ風の住宅がずらりと並んでいる「ジャンゼリゼ通り」を巡り歩きながら、そこで暮らす人々の日常に飛び込み、彼らの物語、彼らにとっての住まいと暮らしの理想像について聞き出そうとしていました。

Known for its replica of the Eiffel Tower, Tianducheng is a housing estate located in the suburbs of Hangzhou, China. Contrary to the remarks made by various foreign media, this short documartary film reveals a snippet of the daily lives of its inhabitants.
